Learn 2 Color on Fabric

This Learn 2 Color on Fabric Class is being offered on our popular Windmill & Bluebonnet project. Project finished size is 17 in. H x 11 in. W. Makes a beautiful framed art or wall hanging.

In class you will learn how to:

  • Stabilize fabric for coloring.
  • Trace artwork onto fabric.
  • How to apply crayon; outlining and shading.
  • How to blend.  "The MAGIC is in the blending!"
  • How to apply colored pencils.

If you love to color this class is for you.  

We bring all the art supplies that are needed for the use during this class. If you love Tana's technique we will have kits available for purchase at the class. The only item you MUST bring is a light box at 8 in. x 10 in. 

Lunch: Red Boot Retreat Center will be providing lunch for $10.00. The fee has been included in the registration cost. 
Chicken salad sandwich, chips, pickle and dessert.  Retreat Center will also provide coffee, tea, creamer, and ice all day.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must be able to trace onto fabric while it is on a lightbox..
Materials Included: Includes pattern, project fabric kit, art supplies.
Requirements: A lightbox is REQUIRED. Must be at least 8 inch x 10 inch lighted space. Sharing is not allowed.
Instructor: Tana Mueller
Instructor Bio: Designaholic and Licensed Fabric Designer. Tana specializes in raw edge applique and coloring on fabric.
Includes rental of classroom, class fee, class kit and lunch provided by retreat center.
